On top of the bucket list of millions of people all over the world is surely the visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza and Sphinx. We will bring your dream to reality. Your private Egyptologist guide will be happy to answer all your questions and explain all the history and the mystery of the pyramids. Listen to your guide talking about the Egyptian Pharaohs, gods, goddesses, and mythology. Learn about the process of mummification. You will have the full time to do some extra activities such as entry to the chambers, visiting the sun boat museum, or riding a camel (all upon your request for an extra cost). Follow your guide steps to show the best spots for taking unique pictures, and then visit the Sphinx and the valley temple where you will learn the story of that massive statue and mummification. Beyond your expectations, the great experience will go on to Sakkara. In this famous archeological site, you will explore the complexities of the oldest of all the pyramids. The Step pyramid, which is 4800 years old, is the first stone structure in Ancient Egypt. You will learn how the great architect Imhotep changed the royal tomb structure. Your guide will accompany you inside one of the tombs dedicated to the nobles. You will see the wall paintings and reliefs reflect the life of the Egyptians thousands of years ago. Amazingly, the ink and colors are still on the walls. Next, the entry to the pyramid of Titi is one of the highlights of the tour as Hieroglyphic texts cover the chamber walls and they date back to 2340 B.C.

After breakfast at the hotel, have a great experience visiting the main attractions of Cairo. Start your tour with a visit to one of the biggest museums in the world. Your Egyptologist guide will explain you the masterpieces of the Egyptian museum. You will be captivated by the most famous and largest art collection in the world. Some artifacts date back to five millennia and more are on display. The treasures found in King Tut Ankh Amun's tomb are the top attractions among the exhibits. Your private live guide will give you the chance to have some private free time to explore more of the museum and you may like to visit the royal mummy room (upon your request for an extra cost). Following this and upon arrival at the citadel of Saladin, marvel at the alabaster mosque of King Mohamed Ali. Listen to your guide as he shares with you the basic facts of Islam and the function of every part of the mosque. Find out how the whole area was used as a fortress since the middle ages and the story of the Arabs and Crusaders. The founder of the royal family had the mosque built by a Turkish architect influenced by the style of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is seated on a mountain Cliff, and the inner and outer walls are covered with alabaster. It took 18 years to finish the whole complex of the mosque (1830-18480. Before leaving the area, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city with the chance of seeing the Giza pyramids on clear days.

With your Egyptologist guide, spend a wonderful day in the beautiful coastal city of Alexandria. The drive from Cairo to Alexandria is about 3 hours on the desert road. Once you get to the city, you will start with the Pompey pillar. It is the tallest pillar in Alexandria made of granite. Take a breeze of the Mediterranean when visiting the Fort of Qaitbay. The fort was built on the island of Pharos where the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria used to stand. Atop the fort, enjoy the view of the blue sea and the city of Alexandria. Finally, the modern library of Alexandria is a revival of the ancient one built by Ptolemy I. Explore the different exhibits and the recent technologies in that great center of culture and knowledge. Before driving back to Cairo, do not forget to have fresh seafood for lunch (upon your request). This is the recommended type of food in Alexandria

Our rep will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Cairo Airport for your final departure.
