Fly from Aswan to Abu Simbel to visit the two temples of Ramses II. The village e known as Abu Simbel in Aswan has the two massive rock temples of Ramses II. The smaller temple of his wife Nefertari was for Hathor. The temples are carved from the mountainside 1200 B.C.
